CAPABILITIES BUILTAROUND YOURREQUIREMENTS.

Combining in-house manufacturing capabilities with an extensive production network to address diverse industrial requirements.

How to read this page

  • In-house Performed in-house by Alloy Road Metal.
  • Partner network Performed by our manufacturing partners and coordinated by Alloy Road Metal.
  • Coordinated Technical evaluation and supply coordination provided by Alloy Road Metal.
In-house

CNC Machining

We machine industrial components in-house by CNC turning and milling, working from technical drawings and customer specifications.

  • CNC turning
  • CNC milling
  • Precision-oriented machining of industrial components
  • Manufacturing to technical drawings and customer specifications

Feasibility, achievable tolerances and lead times are confirmed for each part after the drawing has been reviewed. Where capacity or process requirements call for it, CNC machining can also be supported by our partners.

Mechanical Assembly

We carry out mechanical assembly in-house, bringing machined, sourced and partner-produced parts together into complete units.

  • Machinery assembly
  • Equipment assembly
  • Mechanical system assembly
  • Component integration and assembly operations

The assembly scope, sequence and any required checks are defined with the customer for each project. Assembly can also be supported by partners where needed.

Extended Manufacturing

Our manufacturing partners extend the processes available to a project. We coordinate the work, communication and delivery within one scope, so the customer deals with a single contact.

  • Casting

Cast components for complex geometries and larger part sizes.

  • Forging

Forged parts where grain flow and mechanical properties are critical.

  • Metal additive manufacturing

Additively manufactured metal parts for complex or low-volume geometries.

  • WAAM

Wire arc additive manufacturing for larger near-net-shape metal parts.

  • Welding & joining

Welding, fabrication and joining of metal components and assemblies.

  • Sheet metal processing

Cutting, forming and fabrication of sheet metal parts.

  • Heat treatment

Heat treatment in line with material and drawing requirements.

  • Surface treatment

Coatings and surface treatments for wear, corrosion and functional requirements.

  • Engineering & system design

Design and engineering support arranged with partners where a project requires it.

  • Other project-specific processes

Further processes arranged according to the requirements of each project.

These processes are carried out by our manufacturing partners, not in Alloy Road Metal facilities.

Coordinated

Engineering-Oriented Solutions

Project-specific requirements rarely fit a single process. We evaluate each requirement technically and define how it should be produced before work begins.

  1. Requirement review

Drawings, specifications, operating conditions and documentation needs are reviewed together.

  2. Process selection

Manufacturing routes are compared for feasibility, material suitability and the quantities involved.

  3. Production coordination

In-house and partner operations are scheduled and coordinated as one project.

Coordinated

Industrial Sourcing

We source to specification, from defined technical products to project-specific equipment, and coordinate supplier communication, documentation and delivery.

  • Machinery
  • Equipment
  • Systems
  • Components
  • Specialized materials
  • Technical products

Quality & Technical Requirements

Quality requirements are part of the project definition from the start. We work to the requirements you specify and agree the documentation scope before production.

  • Technical specifications
  • Material documentation
  • Traceability requirements
  • Inspection requirements
  • Project-specific quality requirements
  • Manufacturing documentation

The documents and inspections available depend on the product, the process route and the supplier, and are confirmed for each project.

LET’S BUILD THE RIGHT SOLUTION.
